Job Description

Grant Compliance Analysis



Job Duties:





* Prepare and review information and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Assists in preparation for on-site monitoring (programmatic and financial) conducts file reviews, and audits, cross-site evaluations and provides technical assistance.

* Develop, implement and maintain compliance related policies, procedures and practices including internal controls and quality assurance in accordance with government regulations and organizational needs and objectives.

* Conduct routine compliance reviews of grant programs.

* Conducts specialized research and analysis to evaluate and present

* Reviews contractual agreements between the City and assigns subrecipients to ensure compliance with HUD standards.

* Reviews data entered into Neighborly software for the Community Partnership Program Agencies to process disbursement payments and reports.

* Maintains appropriate records and documentation in accordance with grant regulations.

* Records and delivers information to the Grants Manager.

* Provides professional and managerial support to the Grants Manager

* Oversee the work of the team engaged in providing specific services or completing specific projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:





* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field plus two (2) years of experience administering grants or performing contract compliance, accounting or finance functions; or possession of any equivalent combination of education.



GUIDELINES: Guidelines include City of Savannah policies and procedures, state, federal regulations, and department standard operating procedures. These guidelines require judgment, selection, and interpretation in application.

COMPLEXITY: The work consists of varied administrative and supervisory duties, strict regulations and multiple project management responsibilities contributes to the complexity of the position.

SCOPE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with HUD guidelines and regulations standards. Successful performance in this position contributes to the efficiency of department operations and enforcement of HUD standards.
