Job Description



The Process Engineer is part of the site Process Engineering group which provides support via process improvement, employing problem solving techniques, support on large projects, and leading small technical teams.







Key Responsibilities



* Applies technical principles, theories and concepts.

* Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems utilizing a wide array of problem-solving techniques.

* Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.

* Plans and conducts assignments generally involving the larger and more important projects as well as capital programs

* Able to solve complex operating issues through collaboration with peers, assembling small technical teams or next management.

* Manages small to intermediate project teams through functional technical guidance.

* Defines the scope and objectives of projects based on operational needs.

* Provides mentorship to earlier career engineers in the group

* Develops FMEA's for new products and train peers/area teams to utilize tools in order to keep current



Required Skills



* 3-8 years of engineering experience.

* Knowledge and capability to use advanced systematic and creative problem-solving tools.

* Ability to conduct briefings to senior management.

* Strong mentoring skills

* Project Management

* Strong troubleshooting skills



Education, Certifications & Licenses



* Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.
