Product Engineer



Automotive



This position works with a team to design, test and develop products which meet internal and customer requirements.



KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:



* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and up to 3 years related experience and/or training.

* Root-cause analysis methods to problem areas

* Interprets complex customer performance specifications.



* DVP&R- Works with the team to develop, negotiate and obtain customer approval of the product specification

* Works with the team to ensure the product design meets the product specification

* Provides for the team all engineering areas are validated for design.

* Design of Experiments (DOE)

* DFMEA is prepared and updated

* Prepares design review documents.

* Proper execution of the DVP&R.
