Job Description

Are you an experienced Production Assembly professional with the ability assemble large mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according required specifications? Are you detail-oriented and looking for a position with amazing growth opportunities? A Manpower client in the Des Moines metro has an immediate need for a temp-to-hire Production Assembly Technician.

What is the job?

* Mechanical Assembly

* Screws, nuts & bolts, rivets and other fasteners.

* Plumbing PVC, galvanized, SS pipes and fittings.

* Pneumatic hose/tube.

* Prep mobile cement bins for mounting.

* Routing hydraulic, pneumatic, water hose/tube/pipe.

* Assemble customer requested options.

* Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

* May be asked to assemble a specific part on a regular basis such as an auger, belt or shaft.

What should you bring to the job?

* High School Diploma/GED.

* Solid math skills.

* Use of power tools.

* Use of hand tools and measuring equipment.

* Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift operation.

* Previous experience with blueprint reading preferred.
