Manpower's client, a sawmill facility, is seeking general laborers to join their crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, safety orientated work ethic, and the ability to perform as a member of a team.

Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Atlantic Mine, Michigan
Pay Rate: $15.18 per hour

What's the Job?

• Responsible for providing efficient, effective assistance in the stacking of lumber packs and dropping bins.
• Quality Inspection of finished products
• Placing bands and stickers on lumbered wood
• Operate a forklift
• Separate and sort different sizes of lumber

What's needed?

• Willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift when necessary 
• Being safety conscious at all times
• Documentation of High School or equivalent

What's in it for me?

• Temporary to Permanent if you do well and have good attendance.
• Eligible for $1,000 sign on bonus and union benefits in accordance with contract/waiting periods - once converted to permanent employee.
• Day shift and night shift positions available:
  • Day Shift: 6a-3:30p M/T/W/TH & 6a-12:30p on Fridays (reduced schedule Fridays)
  • Night Shift: 3:30p to 2:00a M/T/W/TH (4 x 10's)
