Manpower Engineering has patnered with our Hialeah, FL client to help find a talented Production Scheduler. This client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of tools, instruments and service equipment for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems.



Our client serves multiple industries with application-built, industry-specific innovations and advancements in technologies and products. In addition they iinvest heavily in industrial design so new product solutions reach state-of-the-art in aesthetics and ease-of-use.



JOB SUMMARY



The primary responsibility of the production scheduler is determining daily, weekly, or monthly production activities based on a variety of factors. While developing a schedule, the production scheduler may examine work orders or customer requests, expected delivery dates, plant personnel and equipment capabilities, and inventory availability. The production scheduler then balances these elements to create an actionable and efficient production schedule. In addition to developing the initial manufacturing schedules, the production scheduler makes adjustments based on changing conditions within the manufacturing pipeline.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Duties will include but not be limited to:





* Creates and executes production scheduling plan for the plant to meet demand requirements

* Analyze current production schedule to assess current production status (behind schedule, increases)

* Schedules each job with standard manpower

* Schedules mold changes as required

* Maintain inventory levels in order to meet production schedule

* Track schedule performance vs. production actuals

* Prepares and distributes customer releases

* Weekly inputs into NetSuite System

* Ensures all materials are requisitioned in time for scheduled production and arrive in good condition

* Ensure accurate inventory reporting and segregation of non-conforming production conjunctions with Quality Assurance and Production



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS





* Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration from an accredited university.

* Minimum of 2-3 years of combined experience in MRP, material planning and scheduling, production planning, Manufacturing capacity planning, inventory control, and/or supply chain management.
