Job Description

Manpower has a Supply Chain/ Production Planner role at one of its client location located in Toronto. This is a temporary contract role for up to to 12 months. Below is the description. The pay rate is up to $38/ hr. The client is looking for immediate joiners. Please reply if interested.



Position Summary

This position is responsible for the production planning of Special Packs & Displayers on the Home Care, Foods & Refreshment portfolio. The planner is responsible for the forecast flow within lead time, supply of feedstock & displayer components to be able to service our customer orders. The role requires a high degree of people collaboration with many functions and locations across the organization and deep understanding the inter relationship between functions and how that feeds into the overall business objectives.



What is the Job?



. Temp Contract Role for up to 12 months.

. Pay rate of up to $38/ hr.



. Execute operational activities on all Special Packs & Displayers for the Foods categories to meet the agreed service levels for the markets.

. Manage planning deliverables while balancing the triangle of service, stocks and cost.

. Manage the capacity at the third-party manufacturer across a 13-week horizon

. Work together with the SP&D Project Lead, In-Store Visibility team, Sales, Category Planning, Customer & third-party manufacturer to delivery on Customer requirements.

. Develop, implement, and manage the processes and protocols that will drive Continuous improvement within the SP&D cross functional team.

. Champion the business waste reduction agenda at the third-party manufacturer



What Do You Bring to the Job?



. A minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain planning



Education:



Bachelors Degree with focus in an analytical discipline required (eg. Logistics, applied sciences, computer science, math, statistics, economics, engineering)



Required Skills:



* Knowledge of planning (APO) and O2C (SAP) systems. Working with Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus.

* Strong communication & interpersonal skills

* Leadership
