Job Description

Our client, City of Savannah is seeking a Part-Time Program Coordinator to join their team. As a Program Coordinator, you will be part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division supporting the team. The ideal candidate will have public and interpersonal skills, project management and knowledge in diversity, equity inclusion and discrimination which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title: Program Coordinator

Location: Savannah, GA

Pay Range: $30.95/hour


What’s the Job?

  • Leads complex, multi-faceted projects with high public visibility or involvement by multiple parties. 
  • Manages participation on special projects
  • Performs a variety of research and information-gathering assignments for local government departments and agencies.
  • Coordinates, assigns and reviews work and establishes work schedules; maintains standards; monitors status of work in progress and other related duties as assigned.
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports for internal and external purposes. 


What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business of Public Administration or a major or related assigned department; with two (2) years of experience in program management; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Requires the ability to work independently, prepare and deliver presentations, compile, organize and analyze data, and strong computer skills.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history. 
  • Knowledge of research, study design, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of creating electronic forms to include google forms
