Job Description

Program Lead - Calgary

Are you a strong leader and relationship builder with a passion for helping others succeed and obtain meaningful work? Manpower is currently seeking a Program Lead in Calgary. This position is responsible for providing direct leadership to the team and operations of one of Manpower's Workforce Development Programs to support participants in completing skills training and gaining employment in their field of training.

Essential Job Duties:



* Conduct outreach activities and engage in relevant industry events to promote program services within the relevant sector and develop key connections and industry partnerships

* Select, supervise, train and evaluate program team members in areas of case management, management information systems (Mobius), employment training services, job development and counseling, and quality assurance.

* Represent Manpower's Workforce Development division: attend networking events, liaise with government entities, not-for-profit agency partners, educational institutions and employers - develop and maintain relationships with community resources to further program goals and enhance the success of job-seeking clients and employer partners.

* Oversee preparation of invoicing, narrative and progress reports for the program.

* Continuous review, enhancement and improvement of program services and operations.

* Deliver presentations to stakeholders to promote and inform about program services with the purpose of increasing appropriate client referrals.



Qualifications:



* Post-secondary education in a related field (career development, HR, Education), and/or relevant, related work experience

* Excellent communication both written and verbal as well as strong interpersonal skill

* Strong leadership, operations and people management skills - ability to delegate and coordinate activities

* Knowledge of community social and economic programs / resources

* Ability to innovate, solve complex problems, execute plans effectively and create a culture focused on achieving goals and positively impacting those we serve lives of program clients

* Advanced decision-making skills, exhibiting a high degree of personal accountability

* Advanced computer skills including MS Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel
