* Understanding of Project Management Professional activities, adherence to the Project Management Office Development Process
* Experience with FCA a plus
* Production/Manufacturing experience
* Create and manage project schedule adhering to specific project phases, milestones and gates
* Prior to award of business, support commercial team by working closely with the customer to review and refine project and product requirements.
* Provide resource and cost information in support of project business case development.
* Support review of quote packages to ensure technical completeness and accuracy.
* Work with a global team of internal/external engineering and product resources to develop effective solutions.
* Understand the cost inputs, price calculations and financial sensitivity with the cost model.
* Monitor project team's planned execution to ensure product quality and timely project execution within budget.
* Escalate customer issues, quality, cost or timing problems and propose solutions to resolve them.
* Report project status to the leadership staff on a routine basis.
* Lead escalation communication with customer, internal and external team members.
* Chair weekly team meetings to ensure issues are identified and resolved quickly.
* Comply with and contribute to improvement of departmental best practices and standards.
* Identify program risks and implement risk mitigation plans.
* Initiate the review of lessons learned/best practices of other programs and document new ones from each project.Experience
* developing automotive electronics system (preferred in telematics)
