Job Description

The Project Assistant role sets-up and is involved in the registration process, that ensures communication goes to meeting sponsor and participants. Tracking invitation response rate, registration levels, prepares appropriate materials prior to meetings, and ensures that all registration information is up to date and accurate.



May run point as the organizer and acts as the resource for the team workflow, work procedures and appraisal of work performed. Offers support to team members and stake holders in the areas of registration operations, home office reservations, meeting logistics and communications.



Responsible to have all registration materials ready for distribution on site.



Will be a member of meetings operation team and will assist in all other aspects of event planning.



Manages relationships with outside vendors necessary to execute on the planning process.



Associate Degree or equivalent job experience in hotel & hospitality, food & beverage planning and/or meeting &Event logistics.

Demonstrated proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organization skills, follow-through, and independent decision-making skills.

Project administration skills, with the demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects.

Previous customer service and project management experience required.
