Location: Houston, TX, USA

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Support estimating team on preparing budgets

* Determine and define project scope and objectives

* Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

* Predict resources needed to reach goals and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

* Provide logistic procurement for material as required by the engineering and constructions teams

* Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers

* Track project costs

* Provide project updates consistently to management and customers

* Forecast changes and communicate current and projected issues

* Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

* Create work standards for each project; establish and define roles and responsibilities, specific outcomes, and clear measures for quality and success of the team

* Create within the team a shared focus on the importance of achieving results

* Ensure compliance with company rules and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications:

* University degree as Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or similar.

* 3-6 years of work experience in an engineering or project management role.

* Experience within the energy, chemical and petroleum industry, preferably with heat tracing technology.

* Ability to identify technical issues and resolve basic questions from clients.

* Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change.

* Sets and meets realistic deadlines.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Follows through with fair and consistent consequences for both achieving and not achieving results.

* Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom may require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.

* Inter-dependent and self-motivated.
