* Assist in the product development for dairy and cheese ingredients
What will you be doing?
* Assist in execution of development and reformulation of dairy and cheese ingredients in the R&D laboratory as assigned, including dispensing of raw materials, generation of product samples for internal or external evaluation
* Assist with alternate ingredient evaluation and quality improvement
* Prepare and test finished products using standard lab and food preparation equipment
* Assist in maintaining ingredient and raw material inventory in laboratories
* Aid in the facilitation of and participates in sensory evaluations
* Assist in developing written specifications as assigned
* Follow R&D standard operating procedures to document experiments and results in development batch records, protocols and or laboratory notebooks
What do you bring?
* Positive, can-do attitude
* Bachelor's degree in related field or commensurate experience
* General knowledge of kitchen and laboratory equipment
General knowledge of ingredients used in manufacturing of finished products
* Knowledge of GMP's and Good Laboratory Practices
* Understanding of basic laboratory mathematics
* 1-3 years experience in a food related setting is desired
