QC Lab Tech



Middletown, VA



Do you have lab experience? Do you enjoy Quality Control work? In this position, you will be Performing laboratory analysis on products for the purpose of releasing product. In addition, you will:





* Prepare samples for testing and tests and releases product in accordance with written test procedures.

* Schedule testing to meet department and plant commitments

* Troubleshoot test procedures and/or equipment when problems arise

* Maintains instrumentation/equipment in accordance with manufacturer's labeling and in-house audit and calibration procedures

* Maintain records and logs in accordance with procedures and GMP



Interested? Well qualified candidates will bring:





* An Associate's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field and two years laboratory experience. Required area of experience in Analytical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology or Clinical Chemistry. Experience may be substituted for degree in relevant field.

* BS or BA degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field with one year or less of laboratory experience. Required area of experience in Analytical Chemistry, Immunoassay, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology or Clinical Chemistry

* Ability to work a Monday thru Friday first shift schedule with occasional OT

* Knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements

* Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required
