Job Description

Our client, in the PCB Assembly industry is looking for a Quality and Compliance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years relative experience in the PCBA industry.

Job Title: Quality and Compliance Engineer 
Location: Chatsworth, CA
Pay Rate: $140K-$155K Yearly

What's the Job? 


• Interact with Developement Group, Manufacturing Department, and Project Teams to prevent compliance issues, research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes, develope compliance policies.

• Determine compliance by establishing compliance test standards; cinduct and witness tests; perform diagnostic procedures; measure performance; analyze and evaluate findings; perform forensic analysis of failure; supervise sub-contractors.

• Document compliance by completing approval applications; recording testing results; preparing investigative reports; preparing and filing Declarations of Conformity, maintaining compliance.

• Develope, revise, enhance and maintain Quality Management supporting proceedures and documentation.

• Take leadership role in preparing, assisting, and coaching other departments to keep all Quality related metrics, scorecards, and documentation updated and ready for review during pre-audit exercise as well as for the audit.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Enigeering or realted field.

• 5-8 years related experience in PCBA industry 

• In depth understanding of TL 9000 and ISO 9000 compliance proceedures and requirements 

• Experienced in Quality inspection monitoring and measurement techniques for complex electronic assemblies and components 

• Able to pass Background and Drug Screenings
