Job Description

In search of a Quality Control Administrator - Mutual/Segregated Funds Administrator for one our leading clients in the Banking Industry.

Role: Quality Control Administrator - Mutual/Segregated Funds

Start Dates: Nov 2- Apr 1 (5 months)

Hours: 10:00am-6:30am

Location: Work remote to start and may move to office 155 Wellington St W

Daily Responsibilities:

*Review of processed financial and non-financial transactions with a high level of accuracy for Mutual Funds, Segregated Funds and Pooled Funds.( CASH, RRSP, TFSA and RESP accounts)

*Assist other Investor Services departments/teams in the resolution of Client issues in order to maximize client experience

*Quality check financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut off times. Includes but is not limited to: account set-up; redemptions, purchases, switches, non-complex NIGOs (Not in Good Order), direct trade and wire order placement and settlement

*Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and within Service Level Agreements (SLA)

*Apply all quality control procedures

*Review and completion of daily audit reports for banking information and sell trades

Working Requirements:

*Ability to use personal computer

*2 monitors to work from home and ability to work from home without distractions.

*All training will occur via Webex and must feel comfortable with that type of training.

*There MAY be a possibility that individual can work from office at Wellington at a future date. (flexible)

Mandatory Skill/Experience Requirements:

* Mutual Funds/Segregated Funds industry experience required

* Strong attention to detail

* Highly motivated, detailed, and deadline orientated

* Strong team player, resolute for team's success

* Committed to 'First Time Right' quality initiative

* Able to quickly learn new concepts and processes

* Able to multi-task and prioritize with varied functions and workload

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French is an asset)

* Ability to work overtime - during the week and on weekends

* Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and

changing business needs

* Funds industry experience required


* Completion of the Mutual Funds Operations Course/Investment Funds Institute of Canada

* Knowledge of Unitrax record keeping system preferred

* French bilingualism is definitely an asset

* Understanding of registered products desired

* Experience in an imaging/workflow environment an asset
