Key Responsibilities
The R&D Assistant (Contractor) will be a part of the Product Life cycle Management (PLM) team to update the technical data of all related products in RB's Hygiene North American factories. They will ensure that data are migrated in a safe, controlled, and simple way in order to be in line with factory data systems (for example JDE, SAP).
* Compare and align data collected from factory systems (i.e. JDE, SAP) with R&D internal systems (i.e. TDS) and perform the migration to the new system.
* Create and execute corrective actions, as agreed with a multifunctional team within the change management system (i.e. TrackWise) for defined deadlines.
* Contribute to review and suggest improvements in PLM / business processes to prevent problems from occurring.
* Communicate the progress of the project to key stakeholders and escalate any blockers that may impact the agreed plans in a timely manner.
* Apply a "right the first time" mentality.
* Maintain appropriate level of communications with select R&D, Regulatory, Safety and/or Supply personnel to accomplish specific objectives.
Qualifications
* Associates Degree with 2-4 years related experience, or BS/BA degree in a related science and 0-2 year's relevant
experience in Consumer Goods
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently
* Strong oral communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor
* Strong written communication skills for accurate data entry
* Results-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives
* Timely execution of project objectives within established timelines
* Fluency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
* Experience in PowerBI, JDE, or SAP is a plus.
* Understanding of Consumer Goods product development is a plus.
