Our client, a full-service Trucks and Trailer company is currently hiring for New Glasgow, NS location, an experienced Mechanic Service Technician

What is the job?



The Technician will be responsible for the following:



1. Safety

The technician will play an integral role in supporting the overall safety culture and standards of the Truck Service Centre. The candidate will meet and exceed the safety and quality expectations of customers.



2. Leadership

The successful candidate will be apart of a team of mechanics, technicians, apprentices, and labourers.



3. Customer Service

The technician will provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and customers. This may include completing work orders, providing advice, and addressing concerns to the customer's satisfaction.





What do you bring to the job?





* The ideal candidate will have experience within the Truck and Transport industry or relevant field such as automotive, bus or coach.

* The technician must have proven experience field, be a high level apprentice or have experience in a relevant field

Requirements:





* Experience working in a truck and transport service shop (or similar environment)

* Preference given to candidates with Red Seal designation in Automotive or Truck and Transport

* Excellent customer service skills





License/Certification:



Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal (preferred)
