Job Description

Manpower is hiring Recruitment Coordinator III for a top Banking client in Markham, ON.



What's in for you?

* Contract to start as soon as possible until 31 March 2022, potential for extension or FTE

* Pay Rate: $ 20.00 per hour

* Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm

* Work location: Remote (chance to return to office - Steeles Ave E, Markham)

* Fully vaccinated (COVID)



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Reporting to the Team Manager, the HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers, and candidates with managing candidate's background check alerts, reviewing permits, reviewing background check documentation as well as reporting. This position partners with candidates and HR colleagues to deliver on a best-in-class talent acquisition strategy.

* Review background checks submitted through our vendor and update based on matrix

* Review study/work permit and determine eligibility of hire

* Liaise with New Admissions Team who manages the new hire background process.

* Review and input permit information into WorkDay

* Responding to, and supporting with inquiries to outstanding background check information to candidates and questions from recruiters

* Reviews sensitive information pertaining to candidate's background check process

* Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality, as well as escalating issues where appropriate

* Take initiative to identify and recommend improvements in own job function, research and/or investigate issues requiring resolution in order to execute on assigned tasks

* Prioritize and manage own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency, ability to multitask, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* A solid understanding of internal opportunities - Internal Applicant Tracking system and WorkDay functionality - HR book of record



MUST HAVE:

* 2-5+ years' experience as a Recruitment/HR Coordinator within a corporate/agency environment

* Excellent customer service skills and problem resolution skills

* Knowledge of overall HR and Talent Acquisition policies and processes

* MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

* Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)

* 2-5 years' experience with background checks (important)



NICE TO HAVE:

* Experience in banking - understanding terms

* Experience with WorkDay system (financial & human capital management software system)

* Bilingual (English/French) - strong chance for conversion for a bilingual candidate
