Job Description

Our growing client who specializes in the sale of Aftermarket Auto Parts is looking for for a Director of Sales for Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience. This position is 100% Remote if you choose. The following are the responsibilities:



You will be responsible for managing a team of two people and ensuring the maintenance and development of sales and related programs in the province of Ontario. You will be in charge of planning, controlling and coordinating activities for the division totaling sales of more than $100 million and serving our members who operate approximately 150 stores in the region.

Your main responsibilities:





* Master division efforts to identify and influence competitive advantages by performing comprehensive price analysis and comparisons;

* Support the development of sales to potential customers;

* Participate in the development of Marketing programs that are adapted and personalized to the needs of customers;

* Oversee the deployment of national programs (marketing, products and banners) for the division;

* Oversee all activities involving the release of the vision with the members;

* Work closely with members to ensure that regional and national agreements are properly integrated;

* Supervise, manage, evaluate and monitor the development of his team members;

* Monitor and track sales activities on a regular basis;

* Work closely with other departments to ensure the achievement of the division's sales objectives;

* Participate in the preparation of special activities including event fairs, meetings with customers (round table) and promotional activities (example: golf tournament);

* As a member of the division's Management Committee, participate in the development of the business plan resulting from that of the division and participate in meetings of the management committee.



Qualifications:





* Bachelor's degree in business administration or experience deemed equivalent

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in the distribution industry in a similar role;

* Excellent knowledge of the automotive industry

* Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Windows environment as well as the use of the Internet;

* Experience in B2B sales management;

* Results and customer oriented;

* Ability to adapt quickly to change;

* Ability to work under pressure;

* Sense of discipline and negotiation;

* Excellent communication and management skills;

* Excellent team player (ability to gather and mobilize);

* Available to travel 50% of the time within Ontario



Salary- 100K-125K plus bonus plus car allowance and mileage
