Job Description
Reliability Engineer - Direct-hire - Salary is negotiable - Yamhill County, OR - Relocation is offered
* Gemba Kaizen (experience is highly preferred)
* Work will be done 70% on the shop floor and 30% in the office
Duties:
* Must be able to apply reliability engineering principles and techniques to develop and implement solutions and effectively instruct other employees on a course of action. Must possess knowledge and skill in the design, installation, and maintenance of plant production equipment
* Works with the Maintenance team to enhance the reliability and maintainability of current equipment
* Develops engineering solutions to problems that include capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues
* Participates in the development of criteria for an evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers
* Works with the team to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
* Participates in the development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans
* Defines, designs, develops, monitors, and refines an asset maintenance plan that includes preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
* Develops risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability related risks that could adversely impact plant operations
* This includes factory and site acceptance tests and inspection criteria
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 5 years of related experience
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering, or operations experience
* Strong knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and the tools associated with failure detection/analysis
* Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations
