Job Description

Manpower is seeking a Bilingual (French/English) Processing Administrator for a large Insurance company.



This is a remote role, can be located anywhere in Ontario.



Job Details

Bilingual in French and English

Standard 9-5 hours, OT time may be required during peak season

6 month contract with potential for extension/ hire

$25 per hour



Bilingual Processing Administrator



The Processing Administrator is responsible for verifying and processing entries for incoming money. This includes electronic payments, loan deposits and cheque deposits through AWD and for processing various types of outgoing payments. Payment types include cheques, EFTs, wires and transfers. Other shared processing functions include, processing internal transfers, processing bank related transactions, cheque status changes, cash accounting entries, indexing, report printing and sorting. The processing administrator may assist and cover the junior processor role/functions when required.



Key Accountabilities:

1. Processing Incoming Funds, Processing Electronic Payments, Processing Loan Deposits, Processing Head Office cheque deposits

2. Processing Outgoing Funds, Approving EFT and Cheque requests, Calculating and posting taxes and fees for outgoing funds, Initiating Outgoing Wires, Obtaining required authorization for wires initiated

3. Additional Processing Tasks Include, Calculating and Initiating Inter-Company Wire Transfers, Processing bank related transactions, Cheque Stops and Cancels, ETreasury Deposit and Cash Accounting entries, Assistance with gathering and documenting AML Audit Information, Journal Entry Processing, Returned Items Processing, Report printing and sorting, Initiating and making changes to EFT and Cheque payment requests, Fax Indexing, Annual Administration Fee Processing



Qualifications Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies):

- Bachelorâs Degree/College Diploma

- IFIC Operations Course an asset

- Minimum of 1 year experience working with a mutual fund/dealer back office preferred

- Previous data entry experience or previous banking experience desired
