What is the Job?

* Optimize coating formulations towards obtaining the required products of the final coating. Observation of test results and proposing way forward to achieve targets. Asks appropriate questions to clarify requirements, expectations and critical performance parameters. Documents lab results through appropriate means including databases, laboratory notebooks. Proficient in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets and word for documentation of test results

* Perform qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures according to established protocols with precision and accuracy in a timely. Recognize and communicate the critical, abnormal and unacceptable test results.

* Maintain equipment within the scope of training, written instructions to perform quality control checks, preventive maintenance, and calibration.



What do you Bring to the Job?

* At a minimum Associate Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Applied Science (AAS), biology or related field.

* General knowledge in chemistry and related lab techniques.

* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, Good math skills

* Pro-active, team oriented, flexible, good communicator and open-minded attitude.

* Working knowledge of chemical safety.
