SEMICONDUCTOR MACHINE OPERATOR (Strong Promotion Opportunities based on experience)



Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM (Day Shift) or 7:00PM - 7:00AM (Night Shift)



A leading supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms. Our customers have worldwide locations and are serviced from our manufacturing locations in Colorado Springs.



Job Summary



Machine Operator supports the Colorado Springs Federal or Elkton manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the advanced packaging of wafer and die level silicon products.



Responsibilities



* Works directly for Production Manager on all manufacturing related aspects to ensure safe, on time and cost-effective manufacturing execution and delivery.

* Supports activities in production area(s) meet production goals and support quality and cost objectives

* Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.

* Supports selection and develops personnel to ensure efficient operation of the production floor; communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.

* Runs a safe, incident/injury free work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

* Must be able to work in a clean room environment and follow clean room protocols. Must understand best practices for safe handling of chemicals.

* May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems.

* Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures.

* Performs the role of a Production Technician/Machine Operator in the absence of other duties for the shift

* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



* 1 year operator experience required

* Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience.

* Must be able to work compressed work shifts as well as possible participation/attendance for meetings/classes on unscheduled days.

* Standing for 12hour shift.

* Lift up to 50lbs.

* Strong people skills with the understanding that they need to train at the individual's learning ability.

* Good mechanical aptitude, vision/finger dexterity and attention to detail.

* Ability to read and comprehend component part markings and polarity.

* Ability to interpret Engineering Documentation and work instructions.

* Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook a must.

* Professional and positive communication skills.

* Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time and priorities.

* Valid driver's license required.
