Our client, a leader in the telecom industry, is seeking an SMT Rework Technician to join their team. As a Rework Technician, you will be part of the production supporting. The ideal candidate will have SMT soldering skills, IPC-610-A certification and 5 years experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: SMT Rework Technician
Location: Chatsworth, CA
Pay Range: $49,000-$54,000 per year
What’s the Job?
- Perform complex rework such as removing and installing BGA's and leadless package using the BGA rework station
- Assist in developing and refining rework process with engineers
- Perform functional testing
- Touch up and rework on surface mount board assemblies
- Perform thru-hole inspection
What’s Needed?
- 2 year degree
- IPC-610-A certification
- 5 + years SMT experience
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings
- Ability to perform rework
