Job Description

*This is a permanent, direct hire position with full benefits.

Do you have 5 years or more of business to business sales experience within the manufacturing industry? A Maryland- based company is seeking a seasoned sales professional with a proven business development success history.

Our client is a leader in the production of industrial fabrics, threads and fibers. As a Sales Manager you will work with an already established client base throughout the US and internationally. You will work to increase sales and develop new customer relationships with manufacturers. Your work will require approximately 15% overnight travel and brings unlimited bonus potentials.

As the Sales Manager you will:

 Represent the organization in all high temperature fiber and candle wick products

 Address corporate goals by increasing market shares and meeting or exceeding budget targets

 Identify sales opportunities with prospective and existing clients

 Develop new leads within the industry and support marketing efforts

 Provide feedback to Management teams and align goals with regional needs

 Increase customer awareness of product potentials and industrial applications

 Coordinate with the Marketing team to update collateral sales materials and web pages

The ideal candidate will:

* Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related industry (equivalent experience considered in lieu of formal degree)

* Have a minimum of 5 years of industrial sales or business development experience

* Have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

* Have a familiarity with manufacturing processes

* Have a basic knowledge of industrial textiles, cords, and fibers

* Have exceptional communication and presentation skills

* Be customer-centric and invested in your client's evolving needs

* Be experienced in trade shows and accustomed to routine overnight travel

* Be able to successfully self-manage with integrity and have a strong work ethic

* Be proficient in MS Office suite

This position offers:

 Competitive base salary of $65-80,000 annually with bonus potential
