Job Description
Our client located in Hamilton, Ohio is now hiring a screw machine operator to work on 3rd shift. This position pays $21.00 per hour and is contract to hire.
What’s the Job?
- 3rd shift hours: 7:45pm - 5:45am (SUN-WED / overtime possible on Thursday evenings)
- Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
- Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
- Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
What’s Needed?
- Mechanically inclined Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar.
- Perform standard math Individual needs to able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments.
- Reasoning ability Ability to think, reflect, and make decision to overcome obstacles.
