Job Description

Are you an Administrative Assistant professional then we have an opportunity to work for one of Canada's largest Tech company

Contract: 12 months contract

Pay rate; 24$ per hour

Location: Markham( Currently remote)

Time: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 8PM( 8 hour shift)

Main Job duties:

1. Position supports executives, including directors and vice presidents

2. Potential candidates must demonstrate professionalism, independent thinking, organization/time management, problem solving, and ability to work in a team

environment and be proactive.

3. Proficient in leveraging technology, flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated. Has a good understanding of social tools to enhance individual and client

productivity, such as Linkedin, Snapchat, Twitter, Communities, etc.

4. Ability to learn quickly and to apply new technologies in the assistant role.

5. Strong technology skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)Outlook,

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required to interact with IBM executives and external customers.

7. Good level of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.

8. Strong negotiations skills required to coordinate complex schedules.

9. Able to exercise a high degree of responsiveness and adaptability to changing priorities and/or work schedules.

10. Driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated

11. Able to handle dynamic calendar and heavy travel, including global travel, as well as expense reconciliation

12. Must have the ability to develop an understanding of the executives' organization and communicate effectively

13. Attendance, punctuality and a strong consistent work ethic are key to ensure continuity with peers and executives supported.

14. Cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment

Must have skills:

* Managing the calendar

* Scheduling global meetings

* Domestic & International travel arrangements

* Preparing expenses for the client

* Other Administrative tasks may also be performed based on client requests.
