SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER







Our client is a professional engineering services firm with offices in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, Texas. They are a rapidly growing firm specializing in all aspects of electrical, instrumentation and controls (I&C) design, industrial control system programming, and IT infrastructure design, networking and consulting services.



We are currently seeking a full-time, senior electrical engineer to join their design team in their Dallas office.





Essential Functions



* Perform facility power assessments and studies

* Prepare preliminary design reports (PDRs)

* Develop detailed technical documentation such as project plans and specifications, engineering reports, etc.

* Lead the development of Opinions of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC)

* Perform field inspections

* Lead design projects and mentor junior staff

* Ability to travel up to 20%



Qualifications/Requirements



* Bachelor's degree in Engineering required

* Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within 18 months of hire required

* Minimum of 5 years of related experience with design of power systems.

* AutoCAD, Revit 3D, Microstation and SKM experience preferred, but not required

* Familiar with design documents including data sheets, one line diagrams, conduit routing, lighting, electrical drawings, Input/Output wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and P&IDs

* Experience in water/wastewater preferred, but not required

* Experience designing process control systems and their related network and electrical infrastructures required

* Knowledge of industry related standards such as NIST, NEC, ISA, NEMA, UL508, EIA/TIA, IEEE, NFPA820 required

* Minimum of 2 years of project management experience preferred

* Ability to execute design projects independently with minimal supervision

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Must be available to work in our client's Dallas, TX office
