Senior Financial Analyst - $95k to $115k per year

What are the job responsibilities?
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasting initiatives.
* Conduct meetings with Operational teams to review forecasts variances, and explain results and cost reduction analysis as needed.
* Prepare and lead weekly updates to forecasts/reviews and revenue recognition
* Assist in preparing Financial statements, month end financial reports, executive summaries and slides for review and discussion.
* Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for both local and corporate management
* Prepare and post journal entries into accounting system, as well as maintain schedules and calculations for Deferred Revenue and Revenue Recognition entries.
* Review Inventory Management and provide variance analysis.
* Maintain accurate costing for all Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods, including routings, labor rates and other production overheads.
* Prepare/review Job Cost reporting and analysis.
* Maintain financial and operational controls and processes in accordance with external and internal financial policies and regulations; ensure proper documentation is in place.
* Continuously review for process improvement.
* Other accounting tasks as required.
What do you bring to the role?
* A University degree and an active CPA designation is preferred.
* Proficient Technical Skills including: Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Access, ERP Systems, and SQL.
* Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
* 7 years' of accounting/financial analysis experience is required.
* Previous leadership/mentorship experience is an asset.
* Strong attention to detail and a goal-oriented mentality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
* Experience & knowledge in various sub-ledger processes.
* Excellent skills in time management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and great desire to produce quality work.
