Senior HR Manager - $115k to $130k per year

What are the job responsibilities?



* Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and General Manager, the Senior HR Manager is responsible for providing coaching and guidance to the business leadership team on all HR initiatives, as well as tactical activities related to talent acquisition, associate development/engagement, performance management, and safety/wellness.

* Align HR function to business strategy to influence revenue growth and profitability.

* Key responsibilities include the following areas: Workforce planning, Talent Management/Development, Diversity & Inclusion, and Functional Expertise.

* Conduct workforce planning based on the individual functional strategy and leverage data and analytics to identify priorities.

* Develop organizational design and restructuring plans to optimize resource allocation.

* Support talent management and acquisition initiatives to establish a robust pipeline of diverse leadership and personnel.

* Implement actions to create highly engaged, top performing, and inclusive work environment for the business.

* Continuous improvement initiatives to deliver results (including KPIs).

* Provide hands-on coaching to functional and site teams.

* Overseeing employee relations issues and resolution process, as required.

* Be approachable to foster climate of trust and respect within organization.

* Advise on appropriate HR practices and policies, ensuring proper implementation and compliance across business.

* Work with Union representatives and Business Agent to resolve employee concerns.

* Other ad hoc duties as assigned.



What do you bring to the role?



* Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness or related field.

* 5+ years HR business partner experience; preferably within a manufacturing environment, unionized experience is an asset.

* Generalist background, with broad knowledge of recruitment, benefit and compensation administration, employee relations, legal compliance, safety, and training and development.

* Excellent interpersonal skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization.

* Proven ability to be hands on, demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, results-orientation.

* Proficient with with Microsoft Office Suite, and effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).

* Occasional travel (less than 10%) is required.
