Job Description

Senior Logistics Coordinator - $27/hr

Tues-Sat 5a-1:30p

The position is comprised of the following:

" Developing strong cross-functional relationships with factory, corporate counterparts, vendors, and carriers

" Change management, continuous improvement projects to drive zero losses within customer service and logistics

" Maintaining key documentation on inbound material receipts and outbound finished good shipments

Position Responsibilities

Senior Coordinator Responsibilities:

" Fundamental to this role is the ability to motivate and build skills of logistics team and engage with other cross-functional departments within factory, corporate counterparts, vendors, and carriers, external contractors, and other external organizations

" Manage and oversee Direct Product Shipment program with Near Site Warehouse operations ensuring accurate accounting, inventory, and end-to-end process reconciliation

" Provide the technical oversight and input supporting others in the delivery and implementation of all logistics support systems

" Provide planning support and advice for production planning and material inventory

" Ensure that cargo is managed at all points of the supply chain, and that all tracking and reporting deadlines are met

" Oversee logistics transformation projects such as LPN and WMS implementation with support of the Logistics Lead

" Manage Kilbourn Logistics planning and procurement of inputs such as stretch film, labels, seals, etc.

" Drive Kilbourn WCM initiatives of waste reduction through auditing of receipts, inventory, and cycle counts to optimize team performance

" Manage daily operational duties Tender loads to carriers in Oracle Transportation Management, Post Goods Issued in SAP, MIGO of inbound purchase orders, and warehouse team load assignments

Key Skills:

Education & Training:

Associates degree required. Any logistics, factory or continuous improvement experience is a plus

Work Experience:

5 years work experience with competency in systems and business operations

Functional Skills:

" Competent in technical analysis and able to build one-slide presentations

" Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to drive change

" Strong analytical and systems skills

" Project management

Other Skills:

" Fluent in English

" Strong communication skills to work with warehouse team, external site partner and transportation carriers

" Ability to understand and influence team members to drive change management
