Job Description

This is a Direct Hire position with an international leading manufacturing company specializing in providing solutions on delivering safe drinking water and energy efficient heating and cooling infrastructures.



Hours: 6pm-6pm, 4nights on and 4 nights off

Pay Range: $25.86-$37.50/her DOE



Summary

Under limited supervision; this individual must have the mechanical and technical skills to properly trouble shoot, repair, install, adjust, and perform maintenance on all the industrial, production, and facilities equipment. This position is a go to position for the lower levels of maintenance and requires a higher level of skills for mechanical and electrical equipment.



Responsibilities and Activities

*Applies expert advanced trouble shooting techniques for the repair of equipment back to operational status. Able to accurately interpret and use technical documentation and schematics to solve operational problems on equipment. Follows up to ensure the fix was correct for the reported problem.

*This individual is expected to be the 'go to person' for all trouble shooting problems and other instances where a higher degree of electrical and mechanical skill or knowledge is required.

*The scope will include diagnostics of control operations, basic PLC theory, connect to PLC, experience in installing, maintaining, relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters and encoders.

*This role also will help to coach others in team and providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the facility.

*Documents all work performed, parts used and other data as needed on the work order, posts work hours and closes work order.

*Performs preventive maintenance work instructions accurately and completes required documentation on all equipment following established schedules.

*Assembles, installs mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components and equipment following documentation or verbal instructions accurately and on time. Mentorship of other maintenance staff for skill advancement.



Qualifications and Education

High School Diploma is required

*Prefer successfully completed trade school certificate in electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic or HVAC course work with 5 years of experience OR minimum of 7 years' experience in an industrial maintenance repair position performing

*Strong understanding of electrical controls and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot a complex electrical control system.

*Good understanding of Electrical Safe Work practices and be willing to follow them.

*Knowledge of electrical formulas to apply in diagnostics. Working knowledge of PLC and logic control and interlocks.

*Ability to demonstrate the Technical Skills required for this position.
