Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Service Manager is responsible for managing personnel resources, service level agreements with dealers and external service providers. Achieves corporate service quota level and profit goals. Additionally, assigning tasks to technicians throughout each workday, technician availability, and the technician's skills.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Supervises the day to day operations of the Service Department.

* Manages, directs ad motivates Service Team. Currently oversees: 1 Coordinator, 1 Senior Technician, 3-4 Technicians. Assesses skill level of service group, and requests training aid.

* Coordinate daily activities with the Call Center.

* Maintain and improve the company process for handling of the service cases.

* Assist technicians as needed.

* Maintain and control budget for the department.

* Manages service logistics, interfaces with customers, plans work schedule, schedules service calls and dispatches service people. Processes work orders.

* Performs implementations of policies for Service Department.

* Administrative and organization responsibilities.



REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

* Must have intermediate to advanced MS Office Skills in Word, Excel (spreadsheets/formulas)(v-lookup, sumifs).

* Prior Management experience required.

* manufacturing industry background is preferred (metal fabrication or electro/mechanical assembly).

* It is preferred to have a background in one of the following Industries: Battery, Assembly, Aerospace or Electric Vehicles.

* Ability to demonstrate Analytical Skills and demonstrate Problem Solving Techniques

* Recent Service Scheduling Skills and Knowledge

* Account Management and Customer Relations experience.

* Must be able to pass 3-year background check.
