Job Description

Manpower Engineering is seeking candidates for a temporary opportunity of a Software Engineer for our client who is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors and electronic controls located in Thousand Oaks, California.



What you will be doing:



* Handles the developing of complex software in selected languages for company products and applications consistently following company's coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.

* Introduces new development of software to control external hardware for automated test equipment and other applicable development.

* Handles software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.

* Participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.

* Troubleshooting of code for various applications.

* Analyzes the existing software and improving the processes.

* Handles analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.

* Development of end-user tools for data analysis, reporting and work flow processes with database communication.

* Supports software testing, deployment, and maintenance activities by correcting programming errors and coding software enhancements.



What you will need:



* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.

* 5+ years of experience in software engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent. Aerospace experience preferred.

* Programming in C# PC level based software development.

* Knowledge and prior exposure to hardware design.

* Knowledge of Aerospace requirements AS9100, PPAP, MSA requirements and Quality systems.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
