Solidworks Drafter

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a local employer seeking a Solidworks Drafter to join their team.   This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and an excellent benefits package.   

What’s the Job?

• Mechanical Engineering Design and Drafting for production parts and quotes.
• Plan mechanical drawings by reviewing sketches, descriptions, specs, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and develop bills of materials, standard parts, and fasteners.  
• Produce quality manufacturing drawings for the production.
• Create three dimensional solid model desgin layouts.
• Revise existing drawings per change request notifications. 
• Check engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 What’s Needed?

• Two year technical degree in Engineering Technology with two years of practical drafting/modeling work experience.  
• Flexibility to work weekends when needed.
