Automation Maintenance Technician



Our client in Plymouth, Minnesota is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team.

What's in it for you? This is a direct hire permanent position.





* $27.88/hr. - $37.98/hr. (depending on experience). +

* Sign-on Bonus of $5,000. $2,500 paid on the first paycheck. $2,500 paid after the successful completion of 6 months post hire.

* Choose from either working the 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm OR 3rd Shift 11:00pm - 7:00am additional $1.00/hr. - $2.00/hr. differential (compared to 1st shift).



What will you be doing?



This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment/machinery. Follows all required safety practices and completes required documentation to ensure compliance to cGMP's.



What do you bring?



Automation Maintenance Manufacturing Technician - (Mid-level)Vocational degree in automated machinery systems or equivalent from a two-year college or Trade school and 2 years minimum work experience in a mfg. environment; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years minimum work experience in a mfg. environment. Experience working in pharmaceutical, bio tech, food manufacturing, cosmetics, or electronics preferred. Understanding of electronics, PLC programming, electrical controls, pneumatics, fluid power encoders /resolvers, stepper motors, servo drives, VFD's, control loops, thermocouples, and safety systems. Experience working in a GMP environment, preferred.



Sr Automation Maintenance Manufacturing Technician (Senior-level)Vocational degree in automated machinery systems or equivalent from a two-year college and 4 years minimum work experience in a mfg. environment; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years minimum work experience in a mfg. environment. Preferred work experience in pharmaceutical, bio-tech, food manufacturing or electronics. Advanced understanding/skills working with: electronics, PLC programming, electrical controls, pneumatics, fluid power encoders /resolvers, stepper motors, servo drives, VFD's, control loops, thermocouples, and safety systems. Experience working in a GMP environment, strongly preferred.​​​
