Description



Job Responsibilities:





* Perform preventative maintenance (PM) procedures on pilot line equipment and facilities equipment.

* Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on pilot line equipment and as issues arise.

* Document execution of maintenance activities as required on appropriate documentation.

* Coordinate with outside vendors to support facility auxiliary systems (HVAC, DI Water, Electrical).

* Establish initial conditions required for maintenance (i.e. Lock Out/Tag Out, de-energized)

* Understand equipment calibration requirements and assist calibration program.

* Maintain required spare parts for Pilot Line equipment.

* Suggest equipment modifications to increase machine efficiency, reduce downtime, and reduce changeover time.

* Handle glass as necessary for job functions.

* Handle glass as necessary to accomplish team objectives.



* Work in a cleanroom environment and handle materials as needed. This requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis.

* Additional Projects as needed by CliC Plant Manager

* Drive a forklift and support the receiving area as needed.

* Position requires 100% onsite presence with standard business week work hours.



Desired Skills and Qualifications:





* Ability to work independently and/or with a team to accomplish team objectives.

* Electro-Mechanical Training



* 2 Year technical degree

* Or Military technical role with honorable discharge



* Experience



* 5 years of experience maintaining automated production equipment, production facilities, or heavy equipment.

* Experience in the glass or window industry is a plus.



* Comfortable operating power tools and working on large equipment.

* Ability to use or learn software required for PM tracking and spare parts inventory.

* Ability to communicate complicated concepts and draft technical reports.

* Time management skills with the ability to plan and track multiple projects.

* Commitment to safety and an orderly workplace.

* Ability to work as part of a team, including all levels of co-workers.

* Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

* Preference for spending time on the production floor vs sitting at a desk.

* Good sense of humor.

* Outspoken personality.
