Job Description
This position entails basic computer work, inventory, security, customer service, scheduling, forklift operation, data entry and emailing. Various dates/days/times may be required in order to work multiple shifts to cover holidays and vacations. This position requires mobility in an industrial, plant floor environment and is subject to the client's plant safety requirements.
Job Duties
Responsible for the definition, justification, and implementation of the client:
Provides consultative, transactional, and analytical services to the client
Includes, but is not limited to, gathering relevant product data and creating metrics reports and databases that would aid in project status reports.
Dependent on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the concepts, practices and procedures
Timely and efficiently process of fill parts requisition forms presented by technicians
Entering/maintaining parts information associated with the parts requisition into Computer
Receive parts shipments, verifying against purchase orders for accuracy
Enter parts received into inventory using customer's business system(s)
Generate labeling for inventory in proper place in stock room
Maintain orderly and debris-free inventory stock room
Skills needed:
Basic computer proficiency in, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent customer service
Must act with a sense of urgency
Strong communication
Highly motivated individual that is able to multitask
Strong data entry skills
Excellent organizational skills
Great problem solving skills
Detail-oriented
Work independently as well as with a small team
Must be able to stand for at least an eight hour period and lift at least 40 pounds in weight without assistance from others
High School graduate
Associates degree or its equivalent, 0-2 years of experience in the field or related area
