Job Description
Our client, a leading company based in the Kitchener market is looking to add a Supply Chain manager to their team.
What is the role?
Build relationships with both internal staff members and external customers and suppliers.
Manage daily operations and internal staff
Maintain a safe working environment
Contract and vendor negotiation
Conflict resolution
Inventory Management and audits
Training and coaching of staff
Mentorship
Other duties as assigned
What is required from you?
Post-Secondary education.
Supply chain-specific certifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Understanding of inventory management, VMI and lean planning.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Well organized.
Ability to work independently.
Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to interpret drawings
