Manpower is looking for a Supply Operations Planner in Simcoe, ON location.
Title: Supply Operations Planner
Location: Simcoe, ON. N3Y 2B1
Duration: 6 Months contract opportunity
Pay rate: $33.32/hr
Must have:
Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related fields
1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, or a similar field
Experience as a Production Planner is an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong relationship management and team leadership both internally and externally
Understanding of ERP and MRP
Proficient with Microsoft Suites; experience with SAP, WMS, Kinaxis an asset
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Creates and adjusts the production schedule based on requirements from the supply planner to deliver service, considering run strategy, MOQ, and other operational requirements or constraints.
Work with the Production team to determine ideal changeover and sanitation strategies, downtime requirements, and labor availability for scheduling.
Maintains SAP integrity for production orders, both finished goods and WIP (BOMs, MOQs, etc)
Point of contact for innovations and trials at the factory; liaises with R&D, Engineering and Procurement
Works closely with the material planner to address any gaps in materials, making necessary schedule changes.
Works closely with the Supply Planner to implement updated run strategies.
Leads production schedule meetings.
Ensure best practice across master production schedule and detailed scheduling within a 13-week Horizon.
