What will you be doing?
- Responsible for operation of swiss an lathe machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
- Responsible for performing setup on swiss and lathe machine; including, tooling changes and adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
- Ability to assist other in trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of swiss and lathe machines.
- General Housekeeping of work area.
What do you bring?
- Must have minimum of 1-year prior swiss setup or lathe setup experience or swiss/lathe-based education. This is not a trainable position.
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums, and correspondence. Must be able to read and decipher electrical schematics and machine drawings. Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
