Job Description

Our growing Brampton client who is a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of home improvement product is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years related experience and will be responsible for the following:



- Directly responsible for ensuring that productivity and quality targets are communicated to the workers and are met or exceeded.

- Coordinate the timely and accurate execution of all packaging, picking, shipping and receiving and material handling functions.

- Responsible for prioritizing and assignment of tasks to employees

- Ensure accuracy of inventory and postings in SAP. Enforce proper inventory control procedures.

- Act as the primary liaison between customer service departments and logistics

- Report and track productivity, performance and relay any potential issues to management

- Ensure that all direct reports receive adequate training, motivation, coaching and discipline

- Schedule vacations, monitor attendance, and arrange overtime as required

- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety program

- Ensure a high degree of cleanliness and order in maintained in the facility

- Participate with the development and implementation of various training, attendance and safety and quality programs

- Maintains and promotes high morale and team harmony by increasing communication with employees

- Key role in identifying issues or problems pertaining to maintenance, repairs, relocation of equipment, electrical, grounds, docks, and ensure that all are dealt with in a timely manner

- recommend and implement changes to methods and procedures to improve quality and increase productivity

- Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions to problems affecting productivity and quality issues



We are looking for a strong team leader with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be collaborative but not afraid of making changes to benefit the organization. You will have 3 direct reports and over 12-15 labour staff. You must be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization and be passionate about your job.



Hours- Mon-Friday 7am-3pm occasional overtime required



Salary - $85,000-$88,000
