Manpower is currently seeking Temp to Perm Welder candidates for roles with a Major Manufacturing Company that is a leader in transforming where people live, work, and play located in the East San Antonio area!



In this role, you will be responsible for executing Mig welding of materials in a fashion that meets company standards for quality and workmanship on a daily basis.







Duties include, but are not limited to:



* Weld units and components by using prescribed procedures and standard welding methods

* Perform operations with a gouger, torch, grinder, and other similar equipment as needed

* Read blueprints, perform layouts, fitting and product assembly as required during production

* Find basic errors on blueprints and make corrections as needed to ensure QA standard

* Performs housekeeping and other duties as required



Essential Skills and Experience:



* Must be able to use a variety of tools as required during production duties

* Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

* Must be able to use a variety of measuring devices

* Ability to pass welding 6G test on 2" pipe

* Experience with Mig welding
