Manpower is currently seeking Temp to Perm Welder candidates for roles with a major Doughnut & Coffee Production Company in the Winston-Salem area!

In this role, you will be responsible for executing Mig, Arc and Tig welding of materials in a fashion that meets company standards for quality and workmanship.



Duties include, but are not limited to:



* Perform Mig, Arc and Tig welding of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum welding

* Perform deburring operations

* Fabricate parts using punch press, saws, drill presses, brakes, grinders, and shears as well as a wide variety hand tools

* Perform assembly work from component parts to final assemblies requiring some plumbing and electrical skills

* Assure that work area is kept clean and orderly

* Communicate effectively with co-workers, area leader and supervisor as needed

* Report all safety related issues with regard to co-workers, suspect shop conditions and irregular operating equipment

* Ensure Personal Protective is worn at all times

* Other duties as assigned



Essential Skills and Experience:



* Must be able to use a variety of tools including but not limited to press brakes punches, saws, drill presses shears, grinders and various other tools and ensure parts are dimensionally correctly

* Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

* Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

* Above average math skills, including the ability to work with decimals and fractions

* Must be able to use a variety of measuring devices

* Experience with Mig and stick welding

* Ability to Tig weld

* Perform a variety of other tasks as assigned



Nonessential Skill and Experience:



* 3-5 years' pertinent experience is preferred

* Welding training (technical and trade school, military, community college, etc.) is preferred

* High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.

* Three to five years Tig welding stainless steel is preferred.
