Location: Grand Prairie

Length of Assignment: Permanent FT

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

We are looking for a Wellhead Service Technician that will be responsible for installs, repairs and troubleshoots surface wellhead systems. You will have achieved competence, with expertise, in several of the units and have proven their ability to influence the customer in these areas. Maintains a minimum competency level of 21 and continues to train toward a higher competency level.

Work is primarily in the field environment including land based and offshore drilling and production platforms. In some cases, work is completed on location after the drilling rig has departed location.

What you will be doing:

* Field Service, assembly and repair of new, remain and customer property

* Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end

* Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains and reviews product running procedures

* Maintains communication with Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements

* Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) forms as product problems are encountered

* Prepares and submits Field Service Orders and other region required reports after each job is complete

What will you bring:

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* Technical/vocational/or military training or related experience

* 1-3 years of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic related experience in an oilfield -equipment environment

* High school degree or GED

* Valid driver's license

* Organized and systematic with troubleshooting and problem assessment skills

* Customer service skills - communication skills, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
