Job Description

Will work as a member of a 3-7 member team, operating automated packaging equipment. Will operate and ensure proper operation of bottle unscramblers, labelers, cartoners, tapers, case-erectors and case-packers. Will ensure adequate supplies are loaded at assigned stations and operate power-assisted and manual equipment to move materials to and from the packaging line, Manual packaging responsibilities such as dropping and case packing are sometimes required. Will inspect production prior to packaging to ensure accuracy and will inspect packaged productions throughout the shift ensure equipment is operating correctly. Will also conduct finished goods inspection for quality. Will make minor adjustments to the equipment when appropriate. Will cleans the work area throughout the shift, gathering packaging materials, moving empty skids and sweeping floors. Will also assist in recording production and inspection data, completing documentation and paperwork as necessary.
