Apprentice General Maintenance Worker

Our client, a leading organization in the corporate services sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a General Maintenance Worker, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting the upkeep and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Apprentice General Maintenance Worker

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Pay Range: $26-$27

Shift: 8 hours per shift, starting at 7:30 am and ending at 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, buildings, and systems
• Paint, repair flooring, and support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Respond to emergency situations and support necessary tasks during emergencies
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Support various maintenance projects as needed to ensure operational efficiency

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Willingness to support emergency tasks when required
