Financial Systems Analyst

Our client, aerospace technology and manufacturing company, is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Financial Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Systems organization supporting Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Financial Systems Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $42.81/hr
 

What’s the Job?

• Administer and support Oracle HFM, Essbase, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including consolidations, translations, eliminations, and journal processing.
• Manage metadata, business rules, calc scripts, reporting components, and period open/close configurations.
• Troubleshoot system issues, data anomalies, consolidation problems, and reporting irregularities.
• Coordinate UAT activities, maintain system documentation, and support SOX compliance and audit readiness.

What’s Needed?

• Experience administering Oracle HFM, Essbase, or comparable EPM platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial close processes, consolidations, and accounting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with metadata management, business rules, calc scripts, and data integration flows.
• Experience troubleshooting complex system or data issues.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance and internal audit requirements.
