Sr Electrical Engineer | Torrance, CA
Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Electrical Engineering Department supporting cross-functional design, analysis, and development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent collaboration skills that will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr Electrical Engineer
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Range: $85/hr
What’s the Job?
- Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for advanced engineering applications.
- Perform electrical, power, filter, and EMI analysis, including DO-160 lightning and filter design activities.
- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through completion, including PDR development and presentations.
- Create schematic designs, support PBA layouts, generate BOMs, and troubleshoot electrical hardware issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience required; 12+ years preferred in circuit design, integration, testing, and analysis.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS NG and ELM.
- Strong background in circuit design, simulation, troubleshooting, power electronics, EMI filtering, and electrical analysis.
- U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder) required for export compliance.
